This morning we departed our fair city of Buenos Aires for a morning flight to Iguazu Falls. At 210 feet, Iguazu Falls is considered by may seasoned travelers to be the most spectacular waterfall in the western hemisphere. Its names means "big water." We arrived in Iguazu in time for an afternoon exploring the Argentine side of this amazing spectacle. Iguazu National Park designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1984. Among the sites we saw were the Up-River cascades, the Inferior Circuit, the Down-River Falls and the awe-inspiring Devil's Throat, which marks the border of Brazil and Argentina. After checking into the hotel, we dined overlooking the falls from the hotel dining room.
