Today Marc and I were awoken to a phone call asking us where we were! We had totally overslept and missed the bus! So, we made the most of it. As it turned out we had a wonderful day! We had a delicious breakfast in the dining room at 11 am, then went to the gym for a great work out. After working out, we set out to explore the town. We went to a wonderful local hangout called El Sanjuanimo. We dined on empanadas that were out of this world. Halfway through lunch the sky broke and there was torrential rain showers! We had plans to go over to the Museum of Latin American Art (MALBA) after lunch, but we decided to head back to the hotel as it was to far to walk in the rain. We arrived back at the hotel SOAKED!! There was water gushing in the streets everywhere and there were floods in some parts of the town. After we changed clothes, we headed down to the bar to have a coffee. As soon as we arrived, the rain lifted so we headed back out and walked to FREDDO for a strong coffee and a chocolate dessert :) Afterwards we walked over to MALBA and caught the last day of the Andy Warhol exhibit. It was dark when we left and walked home, enjoying the lights of the city.
